My name is Erica “Go” Green. A native Washingtonian and Ward 8 resident, I am passionate about connecting and collaborating with my community. I have been an educator for over a decade and am an agent for social change, inclusion, and science & financial literacy education. I hold an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Social Sciences from State University of New York Westchester Community College; a Baccalaureate of Science in Education and Sociology from the University of Maryland College Park; and a Master of Science in Education and Teacher Leadership from Walden University. I’m a District of Columbia Public Schools STEM Teacher and the Chairwoman of Friends of Shepherd Park DC. I serve as Executive Officer of Science in Shepherd Park and Project Leader of Science in Oxon Run Park in conjunction with Kind Academy, Friends of Oxon Run Park, and the Chesapeake Bay Trust. I am the CEO and founder of Erica “Go” Green, a community advocacy and environmental consulting firm based in Ward 8C04. I have made it my life’s work to uplift my neighborhood. With Erica “Go” Green as Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner 8C04, our single member district will be a collective model for change as we delve into facing challenges and acting on solutions…together.
